According to CNET, Amazon and Apple, both have agreed on a deal in which Amazon will sell Apple’s products directly and officially on its websites including iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watches.

Apple products were being sold online on Amazon but they weren’t officially from Amazon but were from third-party sellers due to which the prices were always varying and were different from the official Apple Store prices.

The countries where the Amazon will sell Apple products include the US, UK, Germany, Spain, Japan, France, India, and Italy and the products will start to roll out to Amazon’s websites in these countries over the coming weeks.

The products which will be sold will include Apple devices and Beats(owned by Apple) devices but it should be known that not every Apple product will be sold on Amazon’s websites. For instance, Apple’s Echo is a competitor to Amazon’s HomePod and it will not be sold on Amazon’s websites.

With the deal comes a bad news for current Amazon users who are selling Apple Products. As a part of the deal, only Apple or Apple-authorized sellers would be able to sell the Apple and Beats products through Amazon. Any companies or sellers who are currently selling Apple products will see products taken down from the Amazon’s website starting from 4th January 2019.

In order for those companies and seller to sell Apple products, they will have to apply to Apple in order to become official authorized sellers before selling Apple’s products on Amazon again.
