Test your microphone and speakers

To test your microphone and speakers:

1. Select 'Settings' from the 'File' menu. The 'Connection' tab of the 'Settings' window appears. Click Audio devices.
2. Click Test in the microphone area to test your microphone. Speak into the microphone. An indication of the volume's intensity will appear by filling the bars next to the microphone icon in green. Use the slide bar to adjust the volume. In the event of a microphone problem, click here for troubleshooting.
3. Click Test in the speakers area to check your speakers. A sound is played and the volume level appears in the slide bar. Use the slide bar to adjust the volume. Click Stop test to stop playing the sound. In the event of a speaker problem, click here for troubleshooting.
