Microphone test failed

 

If your microphone test failed, please check the following:

  1. Check that your microphone is connected to the microphone plug on your computer.
  2. If your microphone has a mute switch, check that it’s off. If you didn't speak into your microphone or spoke softly, the test will fail. You can increase your microphone's volume in the 'Audio devices' window.
  3. If you have more than one microphone, click on the 'Audio devices' tab of the 'Settings' window and select a different one from the 'Select a microphone' drop-down list.
  4. Check if your microphone is being used by another application. If so, then close that application.
  5. If the problem was not solved, try replacing the microphone.
