Video messages
You can change the location where messages will be stored and define the maximum amount of messages to store on your hard disk. You can also set your camera to be on or off when you start to record a message.
To define your message settings:
- Select 'Settings' from the 'File' menu. The 'Settings' window appears. Click Video messages.
- To
change the location where the video messages are saved, click Change. A window
appears to select a different folder. Select the folder and click OK.
- To set the
maximum number of messages which will be stored on your computer, type
the number (up to 999) in the 'Sent messages', 'Received messages', 'Messages in Outbox' and 'Draft messages' fields. Once this limit has been reached, the oldest read messages will be removed (you will continue to receive new messages even if the limit has been reached).
The average size of a video message is less than 2 MB.
- If you would like your camera to be off when you start to record a message, uncheck the 'Show my video automatically when recording a video message' option.
- Click Save if you made changes.
