Connection settings

It’s recommended to leave the default settings unless you have a specific problem.

To test your connection:

1. Select 'Settings' from the 'File' menu. The 'Settings' window appears. Click Connection.
2. Click Test. Your network connection will be tested.
   If the test fails, click here to troubleshoot the problem.

To change your connection settings: 

1. Select 'Settings' from the 'File' menu. The 'Settings' window appears. Click Connection.
2. If you have a conflict with another application using port 443, then uncheck the 'Use port 443 as an alternative for incoming connections' option.
3. If you do not want to use the default automatic proxy detection, then select the type of proxy using the scroll-down arrow. The relevant fields will be enabled in order to enter the details.
4. Click Save. You will need to sign out and then sign in again to ooVoo. The changes will take effect the next time you sign-in.
